Take part in Online Discussion on Child Poverty and the Post-2015 Sustainable Development Goals

Dates: 24 March - 14 April 2014
Eligibility: Everyone

This is an online discussion with the aim of better identifying how child poverty can be reflected in the emerging post-2015 framework and to identify priority areas to address child poverty. The discussion is moderated by the UN Major Group of Children and Youth, the ODI, and UNICEF.

The results of this consultation will be summarised into a short synthesis report and will be shared publically on the worldwewant2015 website and widely with government and civil society partners.  Results will serve as a potential input in major upcoming Post-2015 reports and work-streams.

To kick off the global conversation, you are invited to reflect on the following questions:

1.    What importance should child poverty be given in the post-2015 development goals?
2.    How can we track progress on the number of children who are poor?
3.    How can we make a difference for children growing up poor?

Join the online discussion here.
